Programing that improves quality of life

Our programming is designed to improve our members’ quality of life outside the gym by improving mobility, strength, stability, balance, coordination, and cardio conditioning. The programming is also designed to lower and maintain a healthy body fat percentage. At Prana Fitness, we educate our members to value body composition over body weight.

We teach our members to have a healthy relationship with their bodies and their food. At Prana, we believe in order to feel your best you must work with your body, listen to your body, and nurture your body. We don’t believe in forcing the body into submission, forcing results, overtraining, deprivation, or starving the body to lose weight. All of which lead to short term gains that most people can not maintain long term. Everything we do at Prana is to set our members up for long term success and progress they can keep. Feeling great, especially as we age, is about working with your body and giving our body what it needs.

Prana GT “Prana group training ” is a training methodology developed to make everyday living outside of the gym more enjoyable. Set in a positive and motivating environment, the workouts will keep members mobile and healthy for many years to come. These fitness classes create a culture of support and encouragement for any person looking for a workout environment that will build confidence and a sense of belonging. Prana GT workouts are designed to improve functional strength, mobility, stability, coordination, and cardio conditioning while supercharging your metabolism so your body can burn through excess body fat. The focus is on building a functionally healthy body while having fun doing it. The side effect is fat loss and feeling great!

Prana Workshops

Throughout the year Prana Fitness GT will have fun “in-house” competitive special events planned where members get to use their new found level of fitness to learn what they are really capable of. Special classes will also appear on the schedule at times. The class duration and purpose will vary. Some class examples are: Yoga Fusion – HIIT training combined with yoga, Prana on the Beach – Prana GT workout on the beach, Prana Power – power lifting and body building for the average person that wants to take it to the next level.
